![]() ![]() Instagram says the goal of search result and reminder ads is to help Instagram users “discover new brands, products or upcoming events.” Instagram has routinely expanded the number of ads in its app, and this is only the latest example. People can opt into convenient reminders and receive three notifications from Instagram one day before, 15 minutes before, and at the time of the event. Reminder ads, rolling out to all advertisers as an option in feed, help advertisers build awareness, anticipation, and consideration for upcoming moments. It’s also now testing something it calls “Reminder ads,” a new advertising placement that “makes it easier for businesses to announce, remind, and notify people of future events or launches that they might be interested in.” An Instagram spokesperson confirmed to The Verge that the ads will appear for “all search terms that fall within our community and recommendation guidelines.” Step 4: Finish creating your post and share FYI: Reminders can only be set at least 1 hour and at most 3 months before the event. Step 3: Add in your event details name of your event, start time (end time is optional). “We plan to launch this placement globally in the coming months,” Instagram says.Īds in search results will allow advertisers to “reach people actively searching for businesses, products, and content.” The ads will show up in the feed of content that appears when you search for something and tap into a post from those search results. Step 2: After you have added your caption, underneath Tag people click on the Add Reminder button. The company says it is “beginning to test” ads in search results with certain advertisers. Instagram announced this change in a blog post this week. “Ads will show up in the feed that people can scroll when they tap into a post from search results,” the company says. The company has announced that it is now allowing Instagram advertisers to place ads in search results for the first time. #Button(window, text="Set a reminder", command=new_thread).grid(row=8, column=3, padx=10, pady=10)īutton_remind = HoverButton(window, text="Set a reminder", activebackground='yellow', command=new_thread).Believe it or not, Meta has found the space for more ads in Instagram. Label_time = customtkinter.CTkLabel(top, text = 'In how many minutes?:', font = ('arial', 21))īutton_rem = customtkinter.CTkButton(top, width=120, height=40, border_width=0, corner_radius=20, text="Remind me", command=another_thread) Here are the steps to create a reminder on your post: Create a new post. People simply tap the bell in the bottom left corner to opt in to receive reminders. This way it(The reminder section) wont freeze the rest of the app. When adding a reminder, you create a static post, or a Story, and are able to add a reminder to it. We need to "import threading" then use this to run the function. I've managed to fix the problem (Alhamdulillaah) with a bit of research. The code above opens a top level window with the reminder function. ![]() # Create a button to exit Top Level Windowītn = Button(top, text='EXIT', command=exit_btn)ītn.grid(row=5, column=0, padx=10, pady=10)īutton(window, text="Create a TopLevel window", command=top_level).grid(row=8, column=3, padx=10, pady=10) Messagebox.showinfo(title=None, message=msg)īutton_rem = customtkinter.CTkButton(top, width=120, height=40, border_width=0, corner_radius=20, text="Remind me", command=reminder)īutton_rem.grid(row=4, column=0, padx=10, pady=10) Label_time = customtkinter.CTkLabel(top, text = 'In how many minutes?', font = ('arial', 21)) Lable_remind = customtkinter.CTkLabel(top, text = 'Remind me about:', font = ('arial', 21)) To add a post back to your queue, tap the three dots at the top right of the post and then tap Copy to. ![]() This replicates what would happen if the reminder were to come through now, and allows you to share the post or story to Instagram. Msg = Message(top, text="Text on TopLevel window", width=150) To share a post or story to Instagram now, tap Post to Instagram at the bottom of the post and tap Share Now. Please assist if possible from tkinter import * Time.sleep() works but it freezes the entire program, I've tried other options like Timer, Freecadgui and others but still failing.
